The great part is that you (genderists) really can’t. It’s like well women are like this and this in society (insert toxic gender role here) and men are like this in society (insert toxic gender role)… You see, if your touchstones for your ‘gender identity’ are the fucking patriarchal approved norms of society then what you are doing isn’t ‘progressive’ or ‘queer’ it is replicating patriarchy and the normative values patriarchy supports. Way to support the status quo, appropriate gold stars to be dispensed for your empowerful hyper-individualism.
And then you wonder why feminists that struggle for the emancipation of women (adult human females) are calling bullshit on your claims of ‘gender-identity’. It’s fucking patriarchy all the way through and thus, not good for anyone.
So surprising right? Google trans identified men and a plethora of results showing successful business people, politicians and cultural leaders. What to trans identified women get hits for in google? Looking pretty.
Almost like there is another axis of oppression at work that happens to supersede any individual claims to the construct of gender.

Meg
The last quote by Witchy sums it up. Men have solidarity among other men, whether or not said males actually want to be men. This isn’t limited to transactivists, though, this is pretty much a problem everywhere I go. Most men refuse to support feminism (or if they do, they only do it half heartedly) even if they themselves are oppressed and even if their oppression can be traced to women’s oppression. For example, gay men in America are notorious for being in-your-face unapologetic misogynists even though homophobia is the direct result of assigning women as the designated rape object class. You can’t address heterosexism without also addressing the misogyny that goes along with rape a.k.a. mandatory PIV and compulsory female submission in the form of traditional marriage. They say “let us marry too” without considering that marriage itself is the problem in the first place. IMO abolishing marriage and making civil unions for everyone would be a better solution and actually respect separation of Church and State. That way, if people want “marriage” marriage, they can have it in their own church and keep the government out of it.
Anyway, if you dig up old transactivist material from the late 1990s to the early 2000s, transwomen did not always reject the idea that they had male privilege. They knew they experienced discrimination based on homophobia and gender performance, not sex discrimination per se the way women do. They at least recognized that gender is a PERFORMANCE, and that performing gender wasn’t just a trans thing but a social thing where everyone was expected to conform to rigid roles.
Somehow the dialogue shifted and likely because oppressed groups often make what I call “deals with the devil” to lesson their own suffering or drown out other groups that are competing for visibility. Transactivists appear to have made a deal by appealing to the porn-saturated misogyny of leftist dudebros who have a “bros before hos” attitude towards social justice. So what follows is American men telling women (AGAIN) that we’re too damn privileged to complain about everything, so we ought to just shut the fuck up and continue to be fuckholes and slaves. Any woman who rejects misogyny knows that misogynists have used social justice causes as an excuse to be sexist. They take reasonable criticism of white women and weaponize it as justification for treating white women like shit, or they take the violence against transwomen and use it as an excuse to justify violent speech and actions towards women. Because women always “ask for it,” don’t we? There are, of course, the misogynists within feminism itself that are complicit in all this, because misogynist women have always dominated the conversation. It’s all a huge mess caused by men doing everything they can to avoid the topic of male power and male domination, and socially engineering oppressed groups to turn on each other to maintain their status and privilege in society.
