When you get what you ask for and realize it wasn’t what you were asking for. In this case dudes wanting cultural legitimacy for their hobby, but of course, unwilling to but up with critical scrutiny of what their hobby actually entails.
I like the replication of toxic patriarchal in my video games and death to those bitches that would criticize what I like… Pretty much the whole Gamer Gate fiasco in a nutshell.

Lol, pretty much. Well summed up. I don’t get all these people that attack people for critiquing video games. It’s not like other forms of art are immune to these critiques. I mean, movies have the whole Bechel test thing. Music has the whole institutionalized rape thing going on. And the … painting/visual arts (?) … well I’m sure they have problems too. Video games are definitely able to express art and unfortunately much of that expression is mired in the patriarchy that we all live in. Just like everything else in life.

But, but… it is near perfect as is. Women are just ruining video games and destroying childhood memories forever by demanding fair representation and reformation of egregious portrayals of their class of people.
Sad!
