Let’s not have the porn = ‘freedom of speech’ argument this one time okay?
I live in a country where if you film any act of humiliation or torture, and if the victim is a woman, the film is both entertainment and it is protected speech. Now that tells me something about what it means to be a woman citizen in this country, and the meaning of being second class. When your rape is entertainment, your worthlessness is absolute. You have reached the nadir of social worthlessness. The civil impact of pornography on women is staggering. It keeps us socially silent, it keeps us socially compliant, it keeps us afraid in neighborhoods; and it creates a vast hopelessness for women, a vast despair. One lives inside a nightmare of sexual abuse that is both actual and potential, and you have the great joy of knowing that your nightmare is someone else’s freedom and someone else’s fun.”

Arb, an absolute new low has been established by a Christian blogger and their approach to women, whom he likens to “cows” which must give milk after they have been “purchased.”
I kid you not.
Violet has a post up on it, so I’ll link to that, rather than to the original. Sharpen your Red Pen

Shocking, isn’t it? It’s so bizarre you first think it has to be a parody, a joke, a brilliant ruse designed to actually highlight the problem…

How would you make sense of a porn star being raped in real life?

Should she be blamed for encouraging her own rape?

Hi Matthew. Welcome back, I suppose, to DWR. I’m kinda curious though, why post here when much of your writing has been thoroughly excoriated and pulled apart exposing your less than savoury nature? (I’ve just linked the one post, but I know there are a couple more kicking around.)
But whatever, perhaps in the spirit of intellectual curiosity you found your way back here, we shan’t question your motives (in this very particular sense) too too much.
Let’s look at what you said:
Here is the thing Matthew this isn’t even a question. I’m not sure how far back I have to go to get this point across, but let’s assume that you happen to be ignorant as the day is long and need a break down the dynamics of your question.
1. People have the reasonable right for their bodies and their autonomy to be respected.
2. Women, aka human females, are people.
3. Therefore, women have the reasonable right for their bodies and their autonomy to be respected.
—–
We’re building momentum here slugger, stay with me…
1. Rape happens when sexual activities that are not consented to by one of the parties, usually the woman, is forced upon said person.
2. Therefore sexual activities/contact without consent for human beings constitutes rape/and or sexual assault.
Conclusion: The pornstar in question is a person, and thus has a reasonable right to have their body and autonomy respected. When unwanted sexual contact occurs it is considered to be sexual assault/rape – regardless of what their occupation is, or what they were doing at the time.
The instant consent is withdrawn, boundaries must be respected. This is how human rights and humane behaviour works.
—-
Whew! Long process, but a nice finish as we get to (what should be) the unremarkable conclusion that women are people and deserve their rights and autonomy just like everyone else.
Your next little tidbit makes me suspect you might be trolling Matthew.
There are no actions any woman can take that should be construed as asking to be raped. It is nonsensical if you consider the previous set of arguments presented.
One might consider a counter example, for instance: I come across a wide swath of christians who I would very dearly like to slap silly because of all the stupid shit they say.
Are christians asking to be slapped when they quote from their magic book and expect to be taken seriously by other adults?
When the lovely JW’s stop at my door and sincerely want to save my soul, does that give me license to slap them? I mean seriously, they are just asking for a slapping waving all that mendacious bullshit around on my front door step… surely that makes it okay to slap them?
The answer of course is no, unless of course, they consent for me to whap them about the head with their own fallacious literature. But one must seek clear, unambiguous consent to do so, otherwise it is assault and battery.
I looked at the link Matthew, I suspect you still don’t get it.

I think a distinction should be made between rape that is philosophical and rape that is a crime. I think this is why so many men are in denial about rape, simply because they’re afraid of going to prison. If they knew the punishment wasn’t so harsh, maybe they would sit down and have a more open and honest discussion about the issue.
(Of course, some guys are just jerks who like to do bad things to other people, and there’s no waking them up.)
I enjoy porn, admittedly, but I know it’s wrong, like eating a hamburger.
(I generally do avoid hamburgers, because they cause cancer.)

Cool story bro.
The distinction here seems a little fuzzy, but we’ll go with it. Most men who rape don’t go to jail they get away with their crime because the legal, social, and emotional ramifications put too great a burden on the victim for her to continue with the process.
And yes, this is an example of rape culture and patriarchy.
Following that logic, should we lessen the punishment for murder so we can finally let the conversation about taking the life of another being? Your statement is nonsensical. If we want men to rape less, we need to change the society that encourages the rape of women and protects rapists from being charged by the legal system.

That was not an enjoyable experience. The depravity and reckless hate against women has left me cold. This individual needs to be in prison and not spreading his filth on the internets… :\

Many “Christians” are wolves in sheep’s clothing who will burn in Hell.
My interpretation of Christianity discourages both pornography and rape. Pornography is both idolatry and adultery. Rape is adultery too, and it also violates the Golden Rule. Treating women like property in general violates the Golden Rule.
But I must mention that wearing revealing clothing, which feminism sometimes promotes, also violates the Golden Rule. There is a reason men don’t walk around nude in public, and they do it without complaining about “slut shaming” or “body acceptance”. It’s just polite behavior.
