It is fascinating how stupid as a species we can be. We could eradicate polio, but nope nope nope because of politics, superstition and ignorance people have to suffer.

The more brutal side of my inner existentialist says that if we are ignorant and lazy enough to let politics and superstition DO this, we deserve to suffer. Then I slap myself sideways and start dreaming of disabling the political superstition machine…
