Subtle indeed. MInchin surely qualifies for some sort of “world Treasure” status.
On the whole, though, I’d say his song about the previous Pope makes its point with more refinement and subtlety.
(warning: if you go looking for it, don’t say I didn’t warn you)

I think I’m familiar with that song. :) I’m becoming a fan of Minchin, he seems to be a modern successor of the likes of Tom Lehrer.

Before referencing some effete English asshole, you should reference a more credible source.

Nothing in that interview you posted said anything about the issue of homophobia. Nor did you actually write what your problem with Tim Minchin’s message was. Discussions work better if you actually make a point.

I think Che Guevara made his point in this interview with eloquence and humour He acted in the interests of the working people of his society If you don’t understand his point, then there is nothing more to say

He may have done so indeed. The Minchin song commented on his homophobia, not his social works. Deifying anyone is usually a bad move because most of the species just isn’t that darn perfect, so Che, like everyone else has some not so nice parts of his personality/views of the world, glossing his warts over does not make them go away.
