It would be easier if the religious would just admit the one fact the lies at the root of their belief system – “facts don’t matter”. Once we shove that sideways down their craw, unravelling the rest of the bullshite will quickly unravel. A good place to start that sort of discussion is with AntiCitizen X and his dissection of christian apologetics.
Enjoy :)

Brilliant vid. Out of interest, Arb… what’s the religious platform looking like in Canada these days? Recently in Australia it was admitted that in 2 generations there’ll essentially be no religion. Same up there?

Religion feels like it is on decline, we do get the woesome tales of declining church attendance and all that. For the most part it seems as if we have a large mass of religious-ish people who while identifying as religious, just do it because it sounds good on the census, and don’t practice the actual ooga-booga on a personal level.
Of course our lovely conservative media often amplifies the religious social conservative narratives because if the media lickspittles aren’t actively genuflecting at powers feet, they don’t know what to do with themselves.

Sort of mirrors Australia. Figured it would.
